CHANAK
Since Anatolia is a region that has embodied various cultures throughout the history, ceramic artefacts that shed a light on the history have been found in many archaeological excavations carried out in the region. The oldest examples of ceramics, which were first invented in the new Stone Age, are the ceramic vessels found in archaeological excavations in several locations of Anatolia, such as Hacilar, Catalhoyuk, Beyce Sultan and Demircihoyuk. The Ottomans, who came to Anatolia in the 10th century, built on the ceramic culture developed in the Chalcolithic Age B.C. 3500, by the Troy and Hittites civilisations B.C. 2500-1000, and by Seljuks A.D. 11th to 13th centuries, and created their own features in the 15th to leave their marks on certain periods with various examples one more beautiful than the other.
